DID (Decentralized Identifier) is a portable, globally unique, URL-based identifier, associated with an entity. DIDs enable entities to prove control over them by authenticating using cryptographic proofs such as digital signatures. An example of a DID is “did:example:123456abcdef”.
Krebit will reuse your existing IDX Decentralized Identity (DID). IDX is a multi-platform identity protocol for web3 decentralized user profiles.
Users will be able to manage their identities and other dApps will be able to obtain real-time reputation of an identity owner across different blockchains.
By using this open-data model, other dApps will also be able to create claims, verify them and register them, all from common known identities.
